One of the goals of the Feather River Lapidary and Mineral Society is to promote learning about rocks and geology. A great way to do this is by encouraging young rockhounders to enter the field!
The club raises money for our scholarships at our annual show through the raffle that’s held at the end of the second day.
We also accept donations toward our Scholarship Fund.
At least one scholarship will be available to local college students in 2024. The application is available to students studying geology, earth sciences, or a related subject. Students studying at a college in Northern California are permitted to apply. Students must be a U.S. citizen and submit an unofficial transcript.
The 2024 Scholarship application in PDF form is available by clicking HERE. (Scholarship applications for 2025 will be available at the start of the year and are due by June 30, 2025.)
