Have a skill and willing to teach others in the club?
Or is there something in particular we should learn more about?
Let Manuel Garcia (club president) know and we will try to schedule it.
2019 Upcoming Dates:
TBD Wire Weaving -- All participants must have experience with wire either through the basic wire wrapping class or on your own. Bring a stone or Lora will have one. This class will have home work since weaving takes time. Bring tools if you have them. Wire will be provided. Bring your reading glasses!
TBD Wire crochet necklace -- All paticipants must have experience with wire or with basic crochet stitch. Bring your small crochet hooks or Lora will have some. Club will provide the 28 gauge wire. Participants should bring a mix of beads or Lora will have some (a mix of colors and sizes work well).
TBD: Bring a cabochon to do a basic wire wrapping. This would work well with the Hematite pieces collected in Nevada. If you have a wire wrap kit (pliers, etc) please bring it with you that day. The club will supply the stone if you need one and the wire. Wire supplied.
Basic Beaded Necklace: Date to be announced. Sign up with Georgette or Julie. Supplies provided by club.
Pearl knotting class. We did this in 2017 and it was a fun challenge!
Chain and linking with beads. Bring your own supples. An order will be made through Fire Mountain soon if you would like to order.
Carol has been teaching members how to paint rocks. Folks have been having lots of fun!
Wire wrapping: Usually during the summer Lora or John lead a wire wrapping class.
