Cheryl Kuentz

The following lyrics from Noel Gallagher sums up a lot of my personal emotions regarding our beloved Cheryl Kuentz.  I’ve been struggling to come to terms with her passing.  She left her home in Cherokee, California and found a new home in Louisiana to be closer to her daughters and grand babies.  Can’t blame her for that.  Her heart was always in Louisiana.  Here’s to you Miss Cheryl.  Godspeed.

Lyrics by Noel Gallagher:

Remember what might have been
Had I walked you home and said “I’ll see you later”
You were living the dream
But when the morning come, you’d gone to meet your maker
Good luck in the afterlife
I hear the morning sun doesn’t cast no shadow
You chose to drift away
But look at you now

We’re on our way now
The truth can be so hard to swallow
Hey now
‘Cause you got the love, you got the love, lady
I’m worn out
‘Cause with every little trick, they try to drag you down
You don’t know why

Stood on top of the world
And when the cold winds blow, you say the chill don’t matter
Having the time of your life
But when you take those pills, does it make it better?
Good luck in the afterlife
I hear the morning sun doesn’t cast no shadow
You chose to drift away
But look at you now.

We are going to miss you forever.
